Computing
Overview
Every class has its own iPads and can access the internet throughout the day. In addition, we also have the use of 96 laptops and 40 iPads in school. In each teaching space (including the hall), the interactive whiteboards are used to aid teaching. Computing is taught as both a discrete subject itself and in conjunction with other curriculum areas. We also have a range of floor robots, data harvesters, printers, audio recording devices and digital cameras which also help in the teaching of computer science and digital literacy.
Pupils can also access a wide range of up-to-date software as we recognise the importance of computing in future educational developments, and life in general.
