Uniform

We do expect all children to wear our school uniform every day, unless informed otherwise. Nail varnish/acrylic nails should not be worn and earings should be one pair of small studs only. Earings should not be worn on PE days for health and safety reasons. If studs cannot be removed, please tape up the earings before school.

Our uniform consists of a bottle-green sweatshirt or cardigan with our logo on, white polo shirt, grey or black school trousers, skirt or pinafore dress. Jeans should not be worn. In the summer, girls may also wear green checked summer dresses. Footwear should be black school shoes or trainers. Boots should not be worn inside school. Zipped front fleece jackets are also available to buy.

Please be aware that we will change children into spare uniform if they come to school without.

All children need a regulation PE kit. This should be a pair of plain black sports shorts or leggings and a plain white T shirt, along with a pair of black pumps. Children will also need an outdoor PE kit, consisting of plain black jogging bottoms and black trainers. The PE kit is part of our school uniform and children should look smart at all times. Children should come to school in their PE kit on the days their class has PE or if they attend a sports after-school club. On days your child has Forest School, they should wear their outdoor PE kit. School sweatshirts/cardigans should be worn over PE kit on days your child has PE/club/Forest School.

Uniform can be bought from Term Time Wear, St John’s Road, Huddersfield or Natasha’s, Buxton Way, Huddersfield. Good quality second hand uniform can be obtained free of charge from the Uniform Exchange scheme. Please speak to Mrs Heywood or Mrs Mellor for more information, or to make a request. We are also grateful for donations of outgrown uniform.

Please make sure you name all your child’s clothing.
